West Lothian Council appointed Cammax as its technology partner for providing self service payment kiosks to its customers, throughout the county. The council payment kiosk machines are equipped with a range of devices that enable customers to make payments via chip and pin payment cards, contactless payment cards and cash including cash recycling and change dispensing.
The kiosks facilitate transactions for a number of Council services including Council Tax, Rents and Housing Overpayments to name a few. The system is integrated with the Council’s existing Capita income management system to ensure a complete end to end process is carried out.
To date, two kiosks have been deployed at Carmondean and Bathgate, with plans to deploy a further four kiosks over the coming months.
