In 2013 Cammax was awarded a tender by Denbighshire County Council for the provision of two Council Payment Kiosks. The kiosks were located in the main central Denbighshire Library known as the Denbighshire “one stop shop” which provides members of the public and alternative location to pay their bills. The two kiosks included the ability to pay for a range of sundries such as Council Tax, Penalties Notices, Housing Rent, Utilities and various other funds by using the Self Service Kiosk.
The payment solution provides the Council the ability to offer self service payments for major funds and miscellaneous income via both cash and card. The solution for Denbighshire integrates seamlessly with the Council’s existing payment authorisation and reconciliation systems (Capita Smart Gateway, Capita AXIS) so no additional administration was required when the new system was introduced.
So far the Self Service kiosks have proved very popular and the Council are currently looking at procuring additional units for more remote locations within the community which may not have access to central city locations.
