Cammax worked alongside Accesso, a US based company specialising in fast tracking theme park solutions to develop the world’s first RFID Fast Track Kiosks for Six Flags Waterpark in Atlanta, Georgia.
The trial was initially for 13 outdoor RFID kiosks installed in the USA in May 2010. The kiosks were enormously successful in dramatically reducing queues. On the back of the trial Accesso then rolled out the kiosk to a further 80 sites across the USA including Dollywood.
The kiosks incorporate RFID technology whereby visitors at the water park purchase a wrist band for $15 which allows them to queue virtually without physically standing in a queue for hours.
This virtual ride reservation system holds their place in line electronically, so they can spend more time on the attractions and less time waiting in queues. When it’s almost time for their turn to ride, an alert is sent to the Flash Pass device. The Cammax Fast Track kiosks and Accesso software is helping reduce queues and improve the overall user experience.
