York College contacted Cammax in order to develop a bespoke indoor payment kiosk which students could use in order to purchase bus tickets which could be used on private York College buses only. The payment kiosk situated in the college communal area enabled toe college to move the selling of tickets away from the main reception and provide a self-service alternative. This freed up the college main reception area which at times could have large queues of students waiting to just to buy bus tickets.
The fast track payment kiosk provides students with the option to pay by Card or Cash and provides a printed receipt and bus ticket which students then present to the driver.
