NHS Calderdale and Huddersfield deployed 17 ClearTouch kiosks throughout outpatients hospitals in order for patients to check in to appointments. The Trust procured the kiosks allowing patients to quickly check into appointments using their Outpatients letter which is printed with a barcode. The ClearTouch Self Check In kiosks are eye-catching kiosk manufactured out of the highest quality clear Perspex which is backlit with coloured LEDs.
The kiosks provide an aesthetically pleasing addition to the Outpatients department whilst providing a functional and easy to use service to Patients. Cammax have developed and installed several types of self-service check-in solutions. These range from a simple wall mounted touch screen for a patient to enter their date of birth, through to barcode scanners linking into full Patient Record Systems.
