Following the success of last year’s conference in Manchester, which attracted a record number of attendees and exhibitors, Cammax will once again be appearing at Transport Card Forum (TCF) 2019 where we will be showcasing our latest range of Smart Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) and solutions.
Transport Card Forum was first established in 1997 after being set up by Smartex on behalf of the UK Department for Transport (DfT). TCF is a membership- based association open to all those involved in transport applications of SMART cards and SMART customer media within the UK.
The conference brings together transport operators, consultants, suppliers, cities, Local Government bodies and other industry specialists to explain and debate the current status, challenges and future plans affecting the SMART transport landscape.
Last year, several important topics including ‘how to improve the whole-transport journey experience with SMART technology’, and ‘how to develop effective Real-Time-Information systems’, were discussed in great length.
This year the focus of the event will shift to ‘Making technology meet travellers’ needs’ and key themes set to be explored include ‘What is the national strategy for commercial public transport payment systems?’ and ‘Which comms technologies, such as NFC, QR Barcodes, BLE or iBeacons could dominate in the future?’.
Cammax will be supporting TCF 2019 alongside fellow exhibitors like ITSO and Rambus and the friendly Cammax team will be on hand to demonstrate and explain our latest products and services for this sector, including our renowned SMART TVMs that have been developed to meet the requirements of a number of Councils and Passenger Transport Executives.
The two-day conference will take place at the Marriot Royal Hotel in Bristol between 24-25th September 2019.
